At the end of each week, we at Oscorm, would call on everyone to pause whatever he/she was doing and write a status report. Our format was highly disciplined hence it could be read easily. Each one then sent their update to his or her manager, and he would compile them into a single report of the team. It is a little irritating as the deadline is revealed every week and all of a sudden we all would stop to write. Yet it keeps the entire staff in line.
